Going All In!
I was really proud to do a video this week on 5 Benefits of Playing A Tabletop RPG. Recording it actually put a lot of pressure on me because I wanted to do the topic proud. There are so many great benefits and I knew people out there who could discuss the specifics more in depth. This is why I want to do a future interview with someone or a few people about how they have benefited from playing Tabletop RPGs. You may know but I plan on doing an interview with someone between every video series over on Master the Game. It serves as my own little way to break up each series and give people something to look forward to. If I can do a meaningful interview that leads into the following series even better!
There are only 2 more planned videos before we put out our interview with Adam Bradford from D&D Beyond. That interview was a fun one since Adam is so easy to talk to. You can really tell that he is a gamer that wants D&D Beyond to truly be the greatest tool for all other gamers out there. We have some series coming up on the channel which will show off D&D Beyond and I can't wait to show you guys! If you love Dungeons and Dragons you need to subscribe to Master the Game right now! You won't want to miss any of the upcoming videos.
I am extremely excited to announce some new Patreon tiers. We now have a change for you to play in a monthly One Shot and participate in weekly Live Chats. We have also put up a tier for a bi-weekly campaign. There is limited availability for two of the three tiers so head on over and back Master the Game on Patreon. In the next couple months there is a lot planned and you won't want to miss out!
There is so much to be excited for. The channel is still building up its core and the next series is still in line with that. It will be a D&D Basics series. I have done a successful Basics series before and I have learned a lot from it. We will be taking everything we learned there and applying it to this new one to make it bigger and better than ever before! This will be the series that you will send to new players for your games to get them up to speed on the rules and how to play Dungeons and Dragons.
I continue to work on some other projects and I can't wait to show you what I have done. I really think these will help you with your gaming and some may even inspire some of your best campaigns. The outpouring of support has been great so far and I trust you will continue to Hammer those like buttons, share my content around with people you know, and comment with your thoughts and opinions.
Going to end this talking about how I am going all in. Lately I have been considering finding a lower stress job so I can apply my time and hard work completely into my website, YouTube Channels, and various other RPG related projects. This would most likely be the point of no return. I have began applying for some positions that sounded interesting and so we will see. Again the hope is that it will help supplement my income and not drain me of any creativity. One thing I have learned over the years is that a stressful job can zap your creativity. This is something we here are very serious about. My wife has been encouraging me to double down on all of this and without her none of this would be possible. She is the one who converted me from sticking with only the Palladium Books system to trying new games such as Dungeons and Dragons.
